ZUCKER – Rheda Fern (Rhoades), 84, Hyattsville, Md., formerly of Jenner Township, Somerset County, died Sept. 19, 2012, at home. Born Aug. 5, 1928, in Jenner Township, daughter of James Felton and Mary Pearl (Weaver) Rhoades. Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Robert L. Rhoades Sr. and William D. Rhoades. Survived by nephew, Robert L. Rhoades Jr., Illinois; nieces, Joan (David) Quinn, Ohio; and Carol (Alfred) Huber, Pennsylvania; numerous cousins; friends at McDonald’s in Riverdale, Md.; and special friends and caregivers, Helen Goldfein and John Nagle, Maryland. She graduated from Boswell High School in 1946. During her lifetime, Rheda worked at the Pentagon and Export-Import Bank of Washington, D.C. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local Humane Society would be appreciated.
