DAVIS – Boyd “Bud” M. Sr., 86, Alum Bank, died Dec. 26, 2013, at VA Medical Center, Altoona. Born Jan. 3, 1927, in Johnstown, son of John and Catherine (Rose) Davis. Preceded in death by parents; first wife, Elizabeth E. (Henry) Davis; second wife, Sara Jane (Birch) Davis; son, Larry Davis; grandson, Michael Maxim; sisters, Ruth, Dolly, Fay and Arlene; and brothers, William and Paul. Survived by children, Boyd Jr. “Butch,” Fontana, Calif.; Ron, California; Denny, Benscreek; Dolly Maxim, Fontana, Calif.; Theodore, Lake Havasu, Ariz.; and Linda Recupero, Palm Springs, Calif.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Orpha, Johnstown; and Mae, Rochester, N.Y.; and brother, John, Hollsopple; also loving Chihuahua, Marko. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service. Interment, Custer Cemetery, Hollsopple.
