OAKS – Darcy A. Oaks (formerly Darcy A. Yoder), 55, Jerome, died Jan. 27, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 29, 1958, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Robert and Naomi (Reckner) Oaks. Survived by daughter, Lori A. Yoder, and companion, Ronie Druist, Jerome; special cousins, Connie Bendick, Boswell; Diane Maurer, Boswell; Jeanie Miller, Somerset; and Ron Matse, Jerome; special aunt, Donna Shaffer, Hooversville; numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins; former husband, Michael Yoder, Carmichaels, Pa.; and pets, Smokee and Roxy. A 1976 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School and a graduate of Cambria-Rowe Business College, Johnstown, and was an employee of Conemaugh Township Municipal Authority. Member of Jerome Volunteer Fire Department ladies auxiliary. She attended Maple Spring Church of the Brethren. Darcy was a very loving and caring mother. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville, Pastor Michael A.
