Joan E. Donner (Baker)
DONNER – Joan E. (Baker), 80, Meyersdale, died Feb. 23, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 25, 1933, in Somerset, daughter of Merle T. and Thelma S. (Snider) Baker. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 59 years, Lee B. Donner, on March 31, 2013; sister, Merlene “Tootie” Gibbs; and twin sister, Jane M. Yoder. Survived by niece and nephews, Mike, Mark and Joe Yoder; Mark and Chris Blazevich; Michael and Erica Donner; and Steve and Mike Donner; brother-in-law, Neal Donner; and sisters-in-law, Deanna Blazevich and Pat Donner. Graduate of Somerset Area High School and a longtime member of Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. There will be no visitation at Joan’s request and graveside service will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be given to Meyersdale Church of the Brethren, 9 Beachley St., Meyersdale, Pa. 15552. Arrangements in charge of Hoffman Funeral Homes.
