EMERICK – Margaret A. (Zorko), 92, Jenner Township, Somerset County, died April 23, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 26, 1922, in Jenner Township, daughter of John H. and Johanna (Vidmar) Zorko. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Andrew H., on Aug. 24, 1977; and infant son, Andrew. Survived by sons, John E. Emerick, married to Lois Piper; and Andrew Frank Emerick, married to Sharon Dixon, both of Jenner Township; and Eugene “Pudge” Johnston, at home; and grandchildren, John; Lori, married to Dan Speicher; Shari; Paul, and fiancee, Kate Phillips; Andrea; Andrew; and Joey, and girlfriend, Jess Moore. Also survived by special pets, Cody, Cy, Boots and Sandy. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish and the auxiliary to Boswell Volunteer Fire Department. She assisted at Helping Hand Food Pantry, Boswell, for many years. Retired employee of the former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factor, with 37 years of service. Margaret enjoyed gardening and farming. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, followed by the firemen’s auxiliary service. Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at All Saints Church, Boswell, the Rev. Father Martin Cingle, celebrant. Committal, Mount Carmel Cemetery.
