James E.  Charnesky
CHARNESKY – James E. Jr., 50, Grazier, Hollsopple, died Aug. 7, 2015, at Memorial Medical Center. Born July 2, 1965, in Windber, son of James E. Sr. and Rose Marie (Ryniak) Charnesky. Preceded in death by father, on Nov. 19, 2013. Survived by mother, with whom he resided; sisters, Virginia “Ginny,” married to Quincy Doyle, Pittsburgh; and Josephine “Josie” Strawn and David Robben, Frisco, Texas; nephew, Brett Strawn; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville, where he served as an usher and on the finance council. Also a member of Hollsopple Sportsmen. Past employee of Fleetwood, Somerset and DRS in Johnstown. Recently employed by Milliken Mill Work, Sidman. Jim was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anne’s Church, the Rev. Father Martin Cingle, celebrant. Committal, St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell.
