Lewis R.  Crusko
CRUSKO – Lewis R., 93, New York, N.Y., died Nov. 15, 2015, at Isabella Nursing Home, New York. Born Jan. 6, 1922, in Jenners, son of Angelo and Mary (Costagana) Crusco. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Carmella and Catherine Crusco, Rose Estevez, Madeline Codisopoti, Julia Lesca, Mildred Alverez and Elizabeth Jarosick; and brothers, Robert, Arthur and Joseph Crusco. Survived by sister, Martha Jarosick, Boswell; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a graduate of Boswell High School and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Lewis lived most of his life in New York City, where he was employed as a mason tender. Member of Laborers International Union of North America and Boswell Post 461 American Legion. Viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main St., Boswell, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Deacon Jay Pyle, presiding. Committal, Mount Carmel Cemetery, Jennerstown, with military honors by Somerset County Honor Guard. Donations in Lewis’ memory may be made to All Saints Parish, 325 Quemahoning St., Boswell, Pa. 15531.
