Davis, Robert “Bob” R., 74, Stoystown, died February 13, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born October 23, 1941 in Hampton, CT, son of John R. and Mary L. (Florentine) Maheu. Preceded in death by parents, brothers John and Joseph Maheu and sister Daniel A. Saunier. Survived by daughter Amy married to Ryan Custer, Stoystown; son Jason and wife Sharyl, Indianapolis, IN; step-children Sherri married to Floyd Doyle, Meyersdale and Heather married to Matthew Walters, Jennerstown; grandchildren Ryan, Tristan, Brett, Keirsha, Kayla, Katarina, Coty and Angelina; great-grandchildren Cali and Scarllet and sister Gloria, California. Bob was a truck driver for 37 years. A member of Flood City Corvette Club. He always lived life to its fullest having raced for NASCAR and gone scuba diving. He also enjoyed traveling, especially to the Florida Keys and working on his cars. Bob was the rock of his family and was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend who was always willing to help anyone in need. A celebration of his life will be held 5:00 PM Wednesday at the Bottom Den, 4467 Lincoln Hwy., Stoystown. Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Boswell.
