Zella L.  Naugle (Lohr)
NAUGLE – Zella L. (Lohr), 94, Church of the Brethren Home, Windber, died April 9, 2016, at the home. Born May 6, 1921, in Hooversville, daughter of David J. and Rella M. (Buchanan) Lohr. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Earl Ray Naugle; son, James; and brothers, Dayton, Garold, Fred, Ken and Morris Lohr. Survived by children, Gary, and wife, Cathie; Linda, married to Floyd Thomas; Bernie; Dean; Deborah, married to Frank Goodbred; and Naomi, widow of son James; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Geneva Brant; Janet Gindlesperger; and Jean, married to Millard Thomas; and brother, Jerry Lohr. Member of St. Thomas Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hooversville, and Prince of Glory Evangelical Lutheran Church, Madison Heights, Mich. She was organist and choir director at former churches. Zella enjoyed sewing, quilting and spending time with family and grandchildren. Viewing from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Pastor Nila Cogan, presiding. Interment, church cemetery. Donations in Zella's memory may be sent to Church of the Brethren Home, Windber Hospice or St. Thomas Lutheran Church.
