Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jack Hartfiel can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I wanted to tell you that Jack was the highlight of my day. See I drove the bookmobile and when my partner Lucy and I would pull into Thomas Mills we knew he would pull up on his moped and come for books. We would love to talk and hear his stories. I even remember the time when he couldn't make it to the bus and I drove that bus to his house. Although we were bring him books we got the treat because we got the tour of his workshop and all of this woodworking. He was such an interesting man and it was so fun to hear his stories. He was the highlight of our days. I pray the god wraps his angel wings around you during this time. His story's will alway be in my mind. Condolence: Kim, I and the girls hearts go out to the Hartfiel family as you grieve the lost of an all around "good guy." Jack was an honest straight shooter who freely spoke his mind, but loved and adored his family beyond degree and would bend over backwards to do anything for them...and, was known to spoil those grandchildren with generosity. To a man who'd give his shirt off his back, we give thanks to God and many his memory be a lasting legacy to bring comfort to both those who knew him a friend and as family. God Bless you, Jack.
