Donald E. "Eagle"  Pugh
PUGH – Donald E. “Eagle”, 67, Hooversville, died June 20, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Born May 3, 1949 in Somerset. Preceded in death by father Robert E. “Bigfoot” Pugh. Survived by mother Mary J. (Esposita) Pugh; wife of 40 years Belinda M. (McClaren) Pugh; son Joshua Edwin Pugh married to Kristy (Plummer), Portage; granddaughters McKenzie and Lillian Pugh and a grandson on the way; sisters Barbara married to Michael Bittner, Jennerstown and Vanessa married to Randy Cable, Hollsopple; brother Robert “Boogie” Pugh married to Louretta (Hicks), Stoystown; sisters-in-law Carol Mason, Mechanicsburg and Audrey married to Wayne Lowry, Friedens, numerous loving nieces and nephews and pet dog Belle. A 1967 graduate of Jenner Boswell High School. He attended Penn State University where he trained to be a sprinkler system fitter. Also a former coal miner for J&D Mining. An active member and secretary for the Jenner Rod & Gun Club. Also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Hooversville and Jerome Nest 556 Polish Falcons of America. An avid hunter and fisherman. Eagle also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and being with family at his camp in Bedford. Viewing from 2-8PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a vigil for the deceased will be held Thursday afternoon. Funeral Mass 10AM Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Karl Kolodziejski celebrant. Committal St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Ralphton.
