Obituary for Arley Otis Frampton

FRAMPTON - Arley Otis, 80, Jenner Township, went to be with the Lord October 23, 2016 at his home due to complications of Lewy Body Dementia. Born July 4, 1936 in Pathfork, KY. Son of Meade and Gertrude (Hayes) Frampton. Preceded in death by parents; sisters Pearl, Eileen and Juanita Frampton and Della Sarver and brothers Russell, Lesley and Howard Frampton. Survived by wife of 56 years Grace Evelyn (Manges) Frampton; daughters Kimberly Jo Ibinson, at home and Holly Ann Frampton, Frederick, MD; grandchildren Ashley Jo Ibinson and Sean Thomas Ibinson, II; brothers Doyle Frampton, Boswell and Fred Frampton and wife Betty, Boswell; sister-in-law Ethel Frampton, Bolivar and numerous nieces and nephews. He served as a medic in Alaska while in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1957. Retired in 1998 from IBEW, where he worked for over 25 years. He belonged to Somerset Post 181 American Legion and was a proud member of the NRA. Attended former Grace Baptist Church, Somerset. Arley was passionate about hunting, fishing, the Pittsburgh Pirates and bird watching. He also enjoyed the outdoors and spending time in his woodshop. Honoring his request, there will be no viewing. A graveside service with military honors by Somerset County Honor Guard will be held 2PM Wednesday at Somerset County Memorial Park.
