Betty J.  Good (Kring)
GOOD – Betty J. (Kring), 94, Laurel View Village, Davidsville, formerly of Walnut Street, Davidsville, died November 12, 2016 at Laurel View. Born September 20, 1922 in Davidsville. Daughter of Clarence and Elizabeth (Stevens) Kring. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 64 years Virgil W. Good and brother Frederick Kring. Survived by daughter Beth Good married to Mark Weakland, Hollsopple; son David married to Robin (Stern), Davidsville; grandchildren Morgan and Aaron Good; sister Nancy married to James Naugle, Davidsville and numerous other relatives. A graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School and Indiana State Normal School (Now I.U.P.). Member of St. David’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Davidsville; Davidsville Lioness Club and a proud member of Delta Kappa Gamma, an Honorary Sorority promoting professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. A retired Home Economics teacher for Conemaugh Township Area High School, Betty had a lifelong interest in cooking, sewing and using her skills in service to others. A memorial service will be held at Laurel View Village on Saturday, November 19 at 11 am with Rev. Jeffrey L. Bassette presiding. Interment Maple Spring Cemetery.
