GINDLESPERGER - Ruth N. (Walls), 88, Berlin, died January 6, 2017 at Meadowview Nursing Center. Born November 23, 1928 in Grantsville, MD. Daughter of Rev. Alfred C. and Sallie C. (Butler) Walls. Preceded in death by parents; husband Clarence “Poss” Gindlesperger; brothers Robert, Herbert, Lewis and Walter Walls and sisters JoAnn Bowser and Cora Wiley. Survived by children Gary and wife Wanda, Meyersdale; Gaye married to Ronald “Sap” Maust, Berlin and Dale “Cork”, Lancaster; grandchildren Gary, Justin, Kellie, Ryan, Cory, John and Elizabeth; 11 great-grandchildren and sister Esther Stanton, Grantsville, MD. A graduate of Grantsville High School and attended Frostburg State University. Owned and operated Ruth’s Fashion’s, Berlin. Retired employee of First National Bank, Berlin. Active member of Trinity U.C.C., Berlin where she taught Sunday school for over 40 years. Ruth was an avid gardener and an accomplished artist and painter. She also enjoyed eating out at restaurants but especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. No viewing or service will be held. Interment I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin at a later date.
