Obituary for Charles A. "Chuck" Pugh Jr.

PUGH – Charles A. “Chuck”, Jr., 62, Champion, died February 13, 2017. Born June 14, 1954 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by father-in-law Joseph Zablotny, brother-in-law Joe Zablotny and his mother and father. Survived by wife of 42 years Diane (Zablotny) Pugh; loving daughter LaDawn married to Douglas Yesho, New Alexandria; mother-in-law Betty Zablotny, Boswell; sister-in-law Cheryl married to Michael Friedline, Friedens; sisters, brother and cousins. A 1972 graduate of North Star High School. Formerly employed by Purco Coal Company, Monongahela and Don Cramer Welding, Mt. Pleasant. He enjoyed special times spent with his father-in-law traveling to watch-making shows and Steelers games. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching baseball. The family is appreciative of the donated organs he received to extend his time with us. In keeping with Chuck’s fighting spirit, his wishes were honored to allow for research to be performed to help others keep fighting the fight. A special thank you to DaVita Somerset County Dialysis and Excela Health Home Care for the wonderful care given to Chuck. Also a thank you to those who prayed for Chuck during this difficult time. Friends received from noon until time of memorial service 1PM Saturday, February 18 at New Life Church of Nazarene, 878 Main Street, Boswell, PA with Rev. Nathan P. Zipfel presiding. Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Boswell. Flower deliveries should be sent to the church.
