Russell I.  Yoder
YODER - Russell I., 84, formerly of Tire Hill, died February 26, 2017 at his daughter's home in Harrisburg. Born September 14, 1932 in Hollsopple. Son of Glenn R., Sr. and Ida (Stern) Yoder. Preceded in death by parents; wife Nancy L. (Adeline) Yoder on July 21, 2014; infant son Russell Jr.; granddaughter and precious angel Megan Kay Reeder and several siblings. Survived by daughters Judith A. Barkhimer and Karen A. Reeder, both of Harrisburg. Also survived by several siblings including his baby sister Mary Ellen Woolson and her family. A 1953 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. He was a self-employed electrician and was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corp., Johnstown. He attended Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. Russell was an avid hunter and also enjoyed collecting antiques. He loved sports, particularly football. He especially enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter Megan. No viewing or service will be held. Internment Kaufman Cemetery, Davidsville. Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Davidsville.
