Coriene L. "Cori"  Berkey
BERKEY – Coriene L. “Cori” (Ashbrook), 42, Jenners, died March 8, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Born July 16, 1974 in Somerset. Daughter of Gary L., Sr. and Denise (Sechler) Ashbrook. Preceded in death by mother-in-law Margie Stein, grandparents Arthur and Kathryn Ashbrook and Buddy and Eura Sechler. Survived by parents, Hooversville; husband Larry M. Berkey; sons Skylar Berkey married to Lindsey Weyand, Jenners and Tanner and Hunter Berkey, both at home; sister Velvet married to Brian Louder, Hooversville; brothers Gary, Jr. married to Niki Veres, Hooversville and Craig married to Gina Donati, Windber; fathers-in-law Larry Berkey and Dave Golden; brother–in-law David Golden II and wife Lori; sister-in-law Tammy Miller and husband John and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1992 graduate of North Star High School. Member of Kantner United Methodist Church. Secretary for North Star Elementary School. Visitation from 5-8PM Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Visitation also from 1PM until time of service 2PM Sunday at Kantner United Methodist Church with Pastor Dennis Zimmerman, presiding. Donations to the family would be appreciated.
