MENEAR - Luella Elnora (Whipkey), 77, Jenner Township, died March 14, 2017 at home. Born March 19, 1939 in Indian Head, PA. Daughter of Howard and Catherine (Nedrow) Whipkey. Preceded in death by parents and brother Wayne. Survived by husband of 55 years, Roy E. Jr. and son Roy E. III, married to Stephanie Phillippi, Jenner Township, sisters; Sammy, married to James Sines, Somerset and Kay, widow of Ken Baker, Berlin, brothers; Merle, married to Kathy, Somerset and Tim, married to Michelle, Shermansdale and several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Life time member of Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle, Jennerstown. 1958 graduate of former J.B.J. Joint High School. Viewing will be held from 5-8 PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10AM until the time of service 11AM Friday at Laurel Hill Gospel Tabernacle, Rev. Gary W. Anderson, officiating. Interment Beam Cemetery, near Gray.
