KALMANIR - Lucille V. (Thomas), 93, Boswell, died April 23, 2017, at The Patriot, Somerset. Born October 31, 1923 in Jenners. Daughter of Zachary and Ada (Ringler) Thomas. Preceded in death by parents, husband, John J., son Thomas A., February 1, 2002, infant sister, Hilda, brothers; Silas, Oren, Espy and Grant Ernest Thomas, sisters; Beulah McGuire, May Henry, Ethel Wilson, Vivian McNeiley, Evelyn Penner and Dora Zayaz; survived by grandsons; Thomas M., Wilmington, Del. and Chris L., Uniontown; 2 great grandchildren; Tara and Meredith, 2 great great great grandchildren, Julius and Gemma; special daughter-in-law, Donna Lindsey; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors, including special friends, Doris Gilbert, Rich and Robin Henry and Carol Mullens. 1941 graduate of former Boswell High School. Retired employee of former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory, Boswell, and continued her seamstress career for the community after retirement. Lifelong member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and loved music and animals, especially Miss Kitty. Past secretary of the Goldenaires Sr. Citizens Group. Memorial service 1PM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, Rev. Dr. R. Bruce Maxwell, officiating. Private interment Jenner Crossroads Cemetery. Donations to Humane Society of Somerset County, Box 182, Somerset, or North Star Youth Outreach, 320 Allegheny Street, Boswell, 15531 would be appreciated.
