MILLS – Helen L. (Truscott), 104, Jenners, died April 27, 2017 at In-Touch Hospice House, Somerset. Born June 8, 1912 in South Fork. Daughter of John and Rachael (Hale) Truscott. Preceded in death by parents; husband William H. on October 31, 1972; son-in-law Donald Reed on April 5, 1995; sister Elnora Truscott and brothers John “Jack”; Fred; James, Sr. “Cecil” and Fosten Truscott. Survived by daughters Nancy J. Reed, Jennerstown and Helen “Boots” married to Richard Cotton, Akron, OH; grandsons Donald Stephen “Steve” Reed married to Jennifer Gibson; William Michael “Mike” Reed married to Roni Gore; Eric Cotton married to Theresa Wachna and Richard Cotton married to Roni Jones; great-grandchildren Jack; Will; Maddy; Pippa; Kira; Tyler; T.J. and Cory; great-great-grandchildren Natalynn; Paislynn and Chloe and sister Shirley Grove, Lorain, OH. Longtime member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Boswell; Ladies Aid Society; North Star Youth Outreach and Goldenaires Senior Citizens. Helen was an avid supporter of numerous veteran organizations. Visitation from 2-4 & 6-8PM Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Funeral service 11AM Tuesday at Covenant Presbyterian Church with Pastor James Stobaugh presiding. No viewing at the church. Interment Jenner Crossroads Cemetery. Donations in Helen’s memory may be sent to Covenant Presbyterian Church, 327 Allegheny Street, Boswell, PA 15531.
