Obituary for Leonard H. Keyser

KEYSER, Leonard H., 84, Boswell, died May 16, 2017, at Somerset Hospital. Born January 14, 1933 in Somerset. Son of Robert C. and Susannah (Kern) Keyser. Preceded in death by parents, brother Elvin Keyser and his wife, Betty and brother-in-law, Lloyd St.Clair. Survived by wife of 57 years, former Thelma (Fisher) Keyser; daughter Sandra Stern and husband Alan, Friedens and beloved grandson, Kyle, who was Leonard’s best “Buddy”; Brother, Charles and wife Gerre, Somerset; sisters, Violet Hileman and husband James and Dorothy Jane St.Clair, both Jenner Township; also survived by sister and brother-in-law Betty and Fred Frampton. Member of Jennerstown United Methodist Church. Retired electrician for the former Johnstown Plant, Bethlehem Steel Corp. Leonard enjoyed gardening, hunting and camping with his family. Viewing 2-4 and 6-8PM Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10AM until the time of service 11AM Friday at Jennerstown United Methodist Church, Pastor Chuck F. Hildbold, Jr. officiating. Interment Jenner Crossroads Cemetery .
