BARNICK, Annabelle (Rager), 88, Jennerstown, died July 20,2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born October 31, 1928 in Johnstown. Daughter of Charles M. and Dorothy (Rude) Rager. Preceded in death by parents, husband of almost 49 years, Edward S., February 19, 2001, whom she married February 20,1952, infant daughter, great grandson, Carter Thomas and sisters, Della, Pearl, Margaret, Florence, Ethel, Viola and Betty. Survived by sons, Keith E., married to Bobbie J. Ripjack, Jenner Township, and Alan J. married Michele M. Kowalczyk, Boswell , Grandchildren; Heather married to Dane Stek, Amy, married to Brian Cumer, Chris, Tom and Jennifer and Andy and Mallory; great grandchildren Taylor, Bryn, Ethan, Abby, Aidan, Sierra, Cameron, Wesley and Maleah; brother Charles and wife Donna, Johnstown and sister-in-law Marjorie Barnick. A very active member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, 7th Society of Farm Women, Goldenaires, , Silver Sneakers and various card clubs. Past employee of the former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory and Lincoln Supply. Was a very caring and outgoing individual who lived her life with faith, hope and charity. Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell.
Visitation also from 1PM until the time of service 2PM Sunday at Laurel Trinity Church, Pastor Robert G. Kaltenbaugh, officiating. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorials to Laurel Trinity Church, Box 185, Jennerstown, PA 15547 or North Star Youth Outreach, Boswell, PA 15531 would be appreciated.
