Obituary for Lawrence Joseph "Joe" Gulish

GULISH – Lawrence Joseph “Joe”, 56, Johnstown, passed away unexpectedly August 31, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center. Born February 24, 1961 in DuBois. Preceded in death by mother Ruth Gail (Ramsey) Gordon, stepfather Ray Gordon, uncles Donald, Jim and Paul Ramsey, first wife Wendy (Charles) Gulish and friend Martin Thomas. Survived by wife Tina M. (Bowman) Gulish; daughters Madi and Mason; sister Rose married to Richard Petrillo; mother-in-law and father-in-law Jean and Arthur Bowman; aunt Betty Anthony; uncles David and Kenneth Ramsey; numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and friends John Houser, Michael Mishler and David Palmer. A graduate of DuBois High School and Hiram G. Andrews Rehabilitaion Center. Owner and operator of Gulish’s Refinishing Shop, Johnstown. Joe was an avid Steelers fan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his daughters. Friends received from 6-8PM Saturday and from noon until time of service 1PM Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville with Pastor Nila Cogan presiding.
