Obituary for Nancy A. Spencer (Novak)

SPENCER – Nancy A. (Novak),61, Erie, formerly of Boswell, died September 8, 2017, at Windber Hospice. Born December 29,1955 in Somerset. Daughter of Michael Andrew “Andy” and Flora Mae (Campbell) Novak. Preceded in death by parents; uncles and aunts, Thomas Campbell and his wife “Marge” (Dorin), Helen Sotkovsky and her husband, Gus, Josephine Zablotney and her husband, Frank and Peter Novak and his wife Katherine (Sopich) and cousins: Vicky (Zablotney) Klink and Regina and Angela Zablotney. Survived by brother Michael A., Jr. married to Molly Johnson, Jennerstown; special niece, Hannah Novak and special nephew, Michael S. Novak; cousins, Louann Stephenson, Marisa Lucas and her husband George, Ed and Ray Zablotney and Larry Klink and Greg Novak and his wife Karen and many special friends in Erie. 1973 graduate of North Star High School and a 1978 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors Degree and a Pharmacy Degree. Employed by Topps Market, Erie. Past member of St. Andrews Evangelical Lutheran Church, Boswell. Nancy was an accomplished artist who enjoyed sharing her paintings with family and friends. Viewing from 12:30 until time of service 2:30PM Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Pastor Michael A. Dunlap, officiating .
