MONTGOMERY – Robert W., 79, Gray, passed away peacefully September 28, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. Born September 12, 1938 in Chickentown, Somerset County, PA. Son of George L. and Eva Grace (Brown) Montgomery. Preceded in death by parents; son Jeffrey Montgomery and his wife Jane; grandson Scott DeVine; great-grandson Austin Montgomery and sisters Ruby Jones, Virginia Kimmel and Twila Punchak. Survived by wife of 60 years Gwendolyn M. (Cronemiller) Montgomery; children Robin Montgomery; Karen married to Ernie DeVine and Bradley Montgomery; grandchildren Eric Sidone and wife Cyndi; Cory Montgomery; Amanda and husband Bobby Griffith; Jeremy Montgomery and wife Justine; Wendy and husband Sean Brown; Kevin Montgomery and wife Katie; Jamie Montgomery and wife Ashley; Adam DeVine and wife Jennifer; Cole and Katie Montgomery; great-grandchildren Emma and Libby Montgomery; Hayden and Peyton Brown; Aven and Moli Sidone; Cooper, Trevor and Parker Griffith and Eva and Gage Montgomery; sister Annabelle Neri; sister-in-law Anita Frederick and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1957 graduate of J.B.J. Joint High School, Boswell. Former employee of P.B.S. Coal and retired employee of Boswell Lumber Company. Member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ, Gray. Bob was a jack-of-all-trades who was gifted with the ability to repair or build just about anything. He also enjoyed gardening, fishing and boating. Friends received from 10AM until time of service 11AM Tuesday at Mt. Laurel U. C.C. with Rev. Bruce Ashlock and Rev. Dr. Joseph M. Beer presiding. Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Boswell. In lieu of flowers donations in Bob’s memory may be sent to Mt.
