LOHR – Almeda May (Blough), 86, Boswell, died October 16, 2017 at The Patriot, Somerset. Born July 20, 1931 in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County. Daughter of Stephen and Effie (Sala) Blough. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 50 years Donald E. on January 25, 2003; sisters Virginia Gindlesperger, Beatrice Eash, Betty Shaffer and Margaret Updyke and brother Virgil Blough. Survived by children Douglas C.; Yvonne K. married to Barry Landis; Bradley W. married to Colleen Luttrell-Lohr and Cheryl A. married to Thomas Deist, all of Jenner Township; grandchildren Leah and husband Cory Stewart, Jill and husband Cody Stahl and Allison and Delaney Lohr; great-grandchildren Ben and Libby; brother Frank and wife Mona, Davidsville; sister Martha Beener, Somerset and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1949 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Member of Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown. Almeda enjoyed tending to her flower garden and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8PM Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10AM until time of service 11AM Thursday at Laurel Trinity Church with Rev. Robert G. Kaltenbaugh presiding. Interment Mt. Zion Cemetery. Donations in Almeda’s memory may be sent to Laurel Trinity Church, PO Box 185, Jennerstown, PA 15547.
