KOZOLA - Mary (Rubinski), 93, Chester Springs, PA, formerly of Boswell, died October 19, 2017 at her home. Born February 18, 1924 in Harrison, Somerset Co. Daughter of Alexander and Stella (Marcinkowski) Rubinski, Sr. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 54 years, Rudolph F. Kozola; son-in-law Jack E. Gindlesperger, brothers Charles, Frank, John and Walter and sisters Cecelia Randall and Catherine Bodziak. Survived by children Mary Ann Gindlesperger and Patricia J. Kozola, both of Chester Springs; brother Alexander, Jr. and wife Rose and sister Sophia Kvacek and numerous nieces and nephews. Longtime member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Boswell now All Saints Catholic Parish. Current member of St. Elizabeth Church, Chester Springs. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, sewing, cooking and baking – especially for church bake sales. She also enjoyed doing jumble puzzles, tending to her vegetable garden, canning, reading cookbooks and trying new recipes. In her younger days, Mary also wrote poetry and on Saturday evenings she liked to watch Lawrence Welk on TV. She also performed the bookwork and accounting for her husband’s mining business. Viewing from 10:30AM-11:30AM Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00PM Monday at All Saints Catholic Church, Boswell with Rev. Fr. John Voytek, OFM Conv. Celebrant. Committal St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell. In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
