TOKARZ – Mary Jane (Rycyk), 86, Coal Junction, died October 19, 2017 at Somerset Hospital. Born April 1, 1931 in Jerome. Daughter of Stanley and Mary (Kogut) Rycyk. Preceded in death by parents and husband of 59 years Andrew Tokarz on January 28, 2011. Survived by son Andrew M. married to Sherry (Harvey), Smoot, WV; daughter Michele M. married to Michael S. Hauger, Friedens; grandchildren Michael A. Tokarz, Cleveland, OH and Melissa M. Hauger, Friedens; sisters Helen Elko, Cairnbrook and Stella Kosco, Belle Vernon; brother Stan Rycyk, Gettysburg and several nieces and nephews. A 1950 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish and Jerome Nest 556 Polish Falcons. Retired cook for North Star High School, Boswell. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and West Virginia Mountaineer fan. At Jane’s request, there will be no viewing. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 28 at 10:00AM at All Saints Chapel, Acosta with Rev. Fr. John Voytek, OFM Conv. Celebrant. Committal Somerset County Memorial Park.
