Obituary for William G. Felix Jr.
FELIX – William G., Jr., 85, Boswell, died November 11, 2017 at Meadowview Nursing Center, Berlin. Born October 14, 1932 in Yuma, AZ. Son of William G., Sr. and Elizabeth D. (Forsythe) Felix. Preceded in death by parents and sister Betty Anne Felix. Survived by wife of 55 years Linda W. (MacLean) Felix; children Garrett D. “Gary” married to Stephanie (Teleky) Felix, York; Lia A. married to Keith Pritts, Somerset and Donald F. married to Allison (Gregory) Felix, Johnstown; grandchildren Nathan, David, Elisabeth, Kelsey and Kendall Felix and Zachary and Cecelia Pritts. A 1950 graduate of J.B.J. Joint High School. Attended Texas A&M University. He then enlisted and served 5 years in the U.S. Army. After the army he graduated from Penn State University. Retired Biology and History teacher for North Star High School with 35 years of service. A 55 year member of Boswell Lions Club where he was a long time Secretary. Also a very active member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Somerset. Bill enjoyed reading, listening to music and woodworking. A funeral service will be held 1PM Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell with Rev. Michael A. Dunlap presiding. Interment Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations in Bill’s memory may be sent to Boswell Lions Club, c/o Tim Woy, 192 Blough Road, Boswell, PA 15531.
