John A. "Jimmy"  Blasko Jr.
BLASKO – John A. Jr. “Jimmy”, 76, Hooversville, died December 22, 2017 at Meyersdale Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born April 21, 1941 in Johnstown. Son of John and Margaret (Stanko) Blasko. Preceded in death by parents and brother Greg. Survived by brother Mark J. Blasko, Tire Hill; numerous nieces and nephews and girlfriend Rosie Springer, Altoona. A 1960 graduate of Johnstown High School. A U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam War where he was an Aviator with the 101st Airborne. Former employee of Latrobe Road Construction and retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Fuel Dept., Johnstown. He also worked with his brother Mark at American Intellitech, Inc. Jimmy enjoyed restoring military jeeps and was a ham radio and amateur television station operator. He also helped design and construct projects that were used on NASA Space Shuttle missions. Friends received from 2-4 & 6-8PM Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville.
