Obituary for Dorothy M. Geiyer (O'Haver)

GEIYER – Dorothy M. (O’Haver), 88, Gray, passed away February 2, 2018 at Somerset Hospital. Born October 6, 1929 in Kitzmiller, MD. Daughter of the late Marquis and Cicely (Wilson) O’Haver. Survived by husband of 70 years Ralph A. Geiyer; children Mark, Gray; Connie married to Ron Beachy, Fort Hill and Lorraine married to Brad Ott, Gray; grandchildren Sheri married to Ken Charlton, Berlin; Kendra married to Kevin Volk, Jennerstown; Leanna married to Steve Weimer, Fort Hill; Roni married to Jeff Langley, Fort Hill; Kirsten married to Justin Zimmerman, Cranberry Township and Kelsey married to Dr. Matt Duray, Gray; great grandchildren Marissa married to Thomas Bakke, Max Volk, Alex Charlton, Ben and Eli Volk, Connor and Riley Weimer, Collin Langley and Mabel Duray. Member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ, near Gray where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. Also a member of the “Painters Group”. Dorothy loved being with family, cooking, baking, making stained glass, oil painting, gardening and mowing with her John Deere tractor. Viewing from 6-8PM Monday and from 10AM until time of service 11AM Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell with Rev. Dr. Joseph M. Beer and Rev. Bruce Ashlock presiding. Interment Beam Cemetery. Donations in Dorothy’s memory may be sent to Mt. Laurel UCC, 1209 Keysertown Road, Boswell, PA 15531.
