Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Samuel Zambanini can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Sam and I were good friends in Conemaught Twp H.S. We played base ball together there and after serving in the Korean War we played baseball together for Jerome in the Somerset Co. League.  He had a sweet swing and we called him "Kaline" after Al Kaline of the Detroit Tigers. He always had a smile and encouraging word when we met. We got together in a mini-reunion with some our former classmates in a Richland restaurant about 10 years or so ago. I had been living in Alaska for a long time and he caught me up on a lot of things. I still remember some of the things he shared with me at that time. The picture tells a lot!
