Preceded in death by parents, wife of 62 years, former Alma W. Gilbert on January 29, 2018 and sister Anna, married to Joseph “Pat” Sheridan. Survived by Sons; Robert P., Jr., “Milt” married to Debbie Wyant, Ferrellton and Richard A. at home; grandchildren Joseph and wife Cheryl; Brandon and wife Courtney and Zachary and fiancée Elizabeth; great grandchildren; Shelby , Bentley and Nash. 1947 graduate of former Boswell High School. Army veteran of Korean War, having served with the 1st Calvary Division in Korea. Graduated from the 1st Calvary Division NCO School March 12, 1954. Former Civil Defense Director for Jenner Township. Former member of Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Department and former Captain of Boswell Fire Department Fire Police. Past employee of the Somerset State Hospital and Boswell Lumber Company.
