Obituary for K. George Clark

CLARK – K. George, 67, Jerome, died July 7, 2018 at his home. Born February 15, 1951 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by mother Joan (Drummond) Jerin; wife Denise J. (Griffith) Clark on March 29, 2009; grandparents who raised George, Melvin A. and Myrtle (Polk) Drummond; brother Melvin W. Drummond and sisters Betty Drummond and Jane Boyer. Survived by daughters Melinda Kelly and partner Joe Shields, Blairsville and Michelle Clark and fiancé William Lint, Jr., Jerome; grandchildren Scott Kelly, Matthew Kelly and wife Kristin, Samantha Kelly and fiancé Robert, Shane Kelly and Austin Foy and fiancé Ashlee; great grandchildren Cole, Zane, Ross, Avyan and Aubriana. Brother of Nancy (Drummond) Gisbrecht, Boswell; Pat (Drummond) married to Mike Petrunak, Windber; Richard Drummond and wife Shelby, Ohio; Peggy (Drummond) Beener, Hollsopple; Pam (Clark) married to Joseph “Bud” Powers, Virginia; Diane (Jerin) married to Jon Lehman, Hollsopple and Ernest “Sim” Jerin and wife Lisa, Hollsopple. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved pet dog Max. Retired baker and manager for Bi-Lo Supermarkets. Owner/Operator of former Jerome Service Station. Member of former Jerome Lutheran Church. George enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. At George’s request there will be no viewing or service. Inurnment Maple Spring Cemetery. Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Davidsville.
