OTT – Twila F. (Jones), 90, Acosta, died Jan. 2, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 3, 1921, in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County, daughter of Harvey and Mayme (Blough) Jones. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Elwood M. Sr., on Aug. 30, 1986; daughter, Judith Ann Wanko, on April 6, 1974; sisters, Evelyn, Florence, Virginia and Rachael; and brothers, Glenn and Harvey. Survived by children, Sandra Jean, married to Richard Bumbarger, Acosta; Billie Joanne, married to John Humberger, Ligonier; Elwood M. Jr. “Butch,” married to Peggy Lisbon, Quecreek; and Debra Kaye, married to Carmelo Magazzu, Gray; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Wolf, Columbiana, Ohio. Member of Mount Laurel United Church of Christ, where she formerly was a choir member. She loved angels, spending time with her family and tending to her flowers. Viewing will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell. Viewing also will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Laurel Church, the Rev. Dr. Joseph Beer, officiating. Interment, church cemetery.
