ZUCHELLI - Michael Eugene “Zeke”, 48, of Jennerstown, died May 11, 2013 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Born March 22, 1965 in Somerset, the son of Eugene and Marie (McGuire) Zuchelli, Boswell. Preceded in death by brother Frank; grandparents Frank and Irene (Bertoldi) Zuchelli, and Edward Earl and Frances (O’Connor) McGuire; father-in-law Telford Fleegle; and nephew Hyatt Walker Fleegle. Survived by parents; wife of 18 years Barbara (Fleegle); daughter Olivia Rose; son Andrew Michael; sisters: Lisa married to Rob Cagliola, and Lynna married to Randy Grandas, both of Limerick; brother Mark and wife Jodi, Beaver Falls; mother-in-law Dorothy (Willison) Fleegle, Jennerstown; brothers-in-law, Dan Fleegle, and Jake Fleegle and wife Sharon, both of Jennerstown; and Doug Fleegle and wife Samantha, Statesville, N.C.; nieces and nephews: Nick and Zach Zuchelli, Gianna Cagliola, Aaron and Justin Grandas, Adam, Logan, Taylor and Ellie Fleegle, Ajenna Smith, Ryan and Jacob Fleegle, and Emma, Jake, Charlie, and Romy Fleegle; and great-nieces Farrah and Ayla Salazar. A 1983 graduate of North Star High School. He also attended Allegheny College of Maryland. Member of All Saints Catholic Parish, Boswell Area Jaycees, Ferrellton Community Park Board, Jenner Community Sportsmen and North Star Wrestling Boosters. He coached North Star youth basketball, baseball and football. Former employee of Baker’s Lawn Ornaments, Somerset, and current employee of PBS Coal Co. He was also an avid hunter. Mike was a loving and devoted husband and father. His greatest joy was spending time with Olivia and Andy. He loved his family, friends and community. His kind and gentle soul will be greatly missed.
