Obituary for Mary K. Zellam (Rullo)
ZELLAM – Mary K. (Rullo), 89, Blough, died March 7, 2015, at Richland Woods. Born March 4, 1926, in Hollsopple, daughter of Philip and Rose (DiMartino) Rullo. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 49 years, John Zellam Sr., in 1995, and brothers, John and Samuel Rullo. Survived by children, Nicolette, married to Raymond S. Clawson, Blough; Rosalie, married to Kenneth Kayian, Tampa, Fla.; Gerri Zellam, Blough; and John Jr., Windber; grandsons, Bailyn, Evan, Kenneth and John III; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Grant and Sebastian; sister, Betty Jarvis, Hollsopple; sister-in-law, Madeline Rullo, Hollsopple; and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1944 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Lifetime member of St. Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville, where she was a member of the ladies auxiliary. Volunteer for American Heart Association for more than 30 years. Secretary/treasurer for Blough Water Authority for more than 50 years. Mary also enjoyed watching sports and traveling. Viewing from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anne Church, with the Rev. Father Martin Cingle, celebrant. Committal, St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Windber.
