Condolence From: Tina McIntosh
Condolence: Karen, Paula and Andrew,

I didn't know your mom. But, she was born one day before mine and I know they were from the generation of "you aren't your kids' best friend." There was no helicopter-parenting going on and it made us strong and independent people. I loved my mom, as well as respected and feared her. You did yours as well and losing that ability to just pick up the phone and touch base or share a story is going to be hard to get used to. I'm so glad you all were all able to be with her at the end. I just wish the end hadn't happened quite so soon. Take care - my thoughts are with you.

Condolence: Dear Karen,
I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. What a wonderful, independent woman she was! I feel like I knew her well from all the stories you told over the years. She was so lucky to have you as a daughter. Please know I am thinking of you during this time and are here for anything you and your family needs.

Condolence: Dear Karen & Paula,
I'm so very sorry to hear about the passing of your Mom. I always enjoyed hearing stories about your visits with her, and memories of your childhood with Mom. She sounds like she was a very independent woman, something that I deeply admire. Love to you both.....

Condolence: Andy, Karen, and Paula, I didn't know your mom for very long and I didn't know her well. But I can tell you that I liked her, I could make her laugh. That brought joy to my heart! She told me that she didn't want to be a burden to any one of you, even though you were all willing to take her. But she really wanted to live out her days here. She got her wish...Jan and I will continue to pray for you, we've been through this 3 times in the last 5 years. We think we understand what you have gone/will go through...Please accept our sincere, heartfelt sympathy.❤🌹
