VETTORI - Louis F., 90, Country Manor Living, Jerome, formerly of Westwood, died May 29, 2017 at
Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born July 20, 1926 in Ralphton. Son of Dominik and Angeline (Veccoli) Vettori. Preceded in death by parents, infant twin daughters, sisters Della Pavlovich and Nora Ripper, brother Raymond and son-in-law JosephTully. Survived by wife of 67 years Nancy L. (Barrett) Vettori; childen Randy and wife Linda, Palmyra; Tina Tully, Westwood and Ryan and wife Susan, Elizabethtown; grandchildren Jessica Glista and husband John, Cranberry; James Tully and wife Tabitha, Richland; Rachael Gardner and husband Teddy, Lewistown and Jacob Vettori, Elizabethtown; great-grandson Lukas Joseph Glista and brothers John, New Jersey and Daniel, Friedens. A U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Retired employee of Island Creek Coal Co., Tire Hill where he was a Safety Director. Lifelong member of the SNPJ Lodge 289, Tire Hill. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Country Manor Living and all the caregivers at the Palliative Care Unit at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital for their kindness and compassion. At the request of Louis, a private service will be held with Pastor Brian Simmons of the Tire Hill Church of the Brethren presiding. Interment Grandview Cemetery with military honors.
