THOMAS – Donald E., 85, Jenner Township, died July 9, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born April 17, 1932, in Hollsopple. Preceded in death by wife of 63 years Aldine F. (Moon) Thomas on January 25, 2016 and mother Edith (Thomas) Barger. Survived by daughter, Joy, married to Jeff Roberts, Seven Lakes NC; sons, Scott, married to Sara Follmar; and Bradley, married to Amy Zatalava, both of Jenner Township; grandchildren, Abbey, Mark, Adele, Seth, Alyssa and Kaylea; and great-grandchildren, Olivia, Madelyn, Daniel, Aden, Caleb, Audrina and Chess and sister Jackie E. Panchisin, York. A 1952 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. A U.S. Army veteran of Korean War. Retired employee of former J.F. Miller & Son Roofing & Tinning, Riverside. Active member of Maple Spring Church of the Brethren where he served on the cemetery board. He enjoyed bowling and fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and traveling with his family. Don’s witty personality will be missed by all. Viewing from 4-8PM Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10AM until time of service 11AM Thursday at Maple Spring Church of the Brethren with Pastor William Wenger presiding. Interment Maple Spring Cemetery.
