Obituary for George T. Wiencek

WIENCEK – George T., 86, The Patriot, Somerset, formerly of Boswell, died September 22, 2017 at The Patriot. Born July 20, 1931 in Sarah Furnace, PA. Son of Walter and Anna (Radesic) Wiencek. Preceded in death by parents and brothers Joseph, Richard, Andrew and Raymond. Survived by sisters Helen married to Joseph Makay, Jr., Boswell and Dora Swintosky, Windber; brother Alvin, Jerome and numerous other relatives including special nephew and niece Joey Makay and Josephine Moskey. Employee of former Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory, Boswell and former Sheftic’s Tri-County Sales Beer Distributor, Boswell. He was an avid baseball and football fan especially of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers. At George’s request there will be no viewing or service. Following cremation, interment Jenner Township Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Boswell.
