The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Clarence Harmon can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Connie Shreffler Mervine
Condolence: Cliff had been a good neighbor of my grandparents for as long as I can remember. I remember him working in his garden but always had took the time to talk or teased us girls when we were visiting. Heartfelt prays for the whole family and know that you all in my thoughts during this time.

Condolence From: Ernie Cooper
Condolence: I worked with Cliff back in the summer of 1984 at the CTAHS. While he was probably 44 years older than I was at the time, I considered him a friend. While I don't remember any particular story, I definitely remember talking with him about his garden. Like many others, people grow, age, and move on. I kind of forgot about Cliff until I saw his obituary; then I immediately remembered him. I wish I would have know he was still alive. I do my best to teach my children who the real heroes are in this world and to respect them. I would have loved my 7-year old to have had the opportunity to meet him. Reading Cliff's obituary, I had no idea that I had had the honor to work along side a real American hero. I guess like most real heroes, they rarely talk about their own greatness. We are sorry for your loss. May you find solace in knowing that he now is receiving the greatest reward in Heaven for a life well lived here on earth.
