BITTNER – Alma W. (Gilbert), 82, Ferrellton, died January 29, 2018 at Somerset Hospital. Born July 1, 1935 in Jenner Township. Daughter of Arthur and Margaret (Maurer) Gilbert. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Opal, Idella, Emily and Virginia; and brothers, James and Grant. Survived by husband of 62 years, Robert P. Bittner, Sr,; sons Robert P. ”Milt”, Jr. married to Debbie Wyant, Ferrellton and Richard A. at home; grandchildren Joseph and wife Cheryl; Brandon and wife Courtney and Zachary and fiancee, Elizabeth; and great grandchildren; Shelby, Bentley and Nash; sister of Dwight, Stoystown; Fae Baker, Michigan and Helen Fye, Listie. Member of Auxiliary to Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Department. Alma served 25 years as clerk for Weight Watchers. Funeral services 11AM Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Rev. Dr. Joseph Beer officiating. Interment Beam Cemetery, near Gray.
