Daughter of Norman E., Sr. and Harriet H. (Patrick) Benson. Preceded in death by parents, sister Mary Louise Harshberger and brothers Norman E., Jr., James R. and William E. Benson. Survived by husband of 59 years Robert J. Valentine, Sr.
Sons Robert J. Jr. and his partner Paul Catau, Maple Ridge and William C. “Pouch” married to former Laura Mull, Hollsopple. Grandsons Dylan and Dalton Valentine who were her pride and joy.
Sister Dorothy Martin, Ebensburg, numerous nieces and nephews and pet dachshund Keri.
A 1946 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School. Past president of the Conemaugh Township Band Boosters and served on the committee for the Conemaugh Township Christmas Parade. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy.
Friends received from 6-8PM Friday at the Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville where a service will be held 11AM Saturday with pastor Frank Young presiding. Interment Richland Mausoleum. Memorial donations to assist the family of Austin Nail with a treatment to restore his sight may be sent to Health Care First Credit Union, 1152 Franklin St., Johnstown, PA 15905.
