Obituary for Emma R. Miller (Lint)
MILLER - Emma R. (Lint), 97, formerly of Greensburg and Hollsopple, died May 22, 2018 at Amber House, Mt. Pleasant. Born September 6, 1920 in Jenner Township, Somerset County. Daughter of John M. and E. Alverta (Yoder) Lint. Preceded in death by parents, husband of 49 years Charles N. Miller on September 6, 1999, granddaughter Stephanie George and brothers Robert, Charles, Irving, John and Roy Lint. Survived by daughters Virginia “Ginny” married to Daniel Parker, New Stanton and Gail married to David George, Edmond, OK; grandchildren Aaron Parker, Rachael Parker and companion Robert Davenport and Valerie (George) married to Robert Jones; great grandchildren Briana and Porter Jones and Bruce Davenport; sister of Dorothy Brown, Donna Jean Sellers and Fred and William Lint. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A graduate of Boswell High School. Past employee of Troutman’s/BonTon Department Store, Greensburg. She enjoyed building puzzles and doing crossword and word search puzzles. Viewing from 1PM until time of service 2PM Saturday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. Interment St. James Cemetery. Donations in Emma’s memory may be sent to Greensburg Hempfield Library, 237 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Greensburg, PA 15601.
