ZAMBANINI - Samuel F., Sr, 84, Jerome, died at home, June 28,2018. Born July 2, 1933 in Jerome. Son of John and Mary ( Palermini) Zambanini. Preceded in death by parents and sister Helen. Survived by wife of 56 years, former Gloria Janakovic: children Samuel, Jr., married to Valerie Barrett, Hollsopple; Gina M., married to Daniel Jones, Export: Marina K., married to Brian Himmelberger, Sterling, Va. and Anthony , married to Sheri Horner, Jerome: grandchildren Arek, Kayla, Nicole, Ali, Keith, Natalie, Kyle, Daniel, Kylie, Narissa, Maggie and Kayce: great grandchildren Arian, Landon, Sophia, Audri, Alahna and Mera. Brother of John, Jr.,Angola,NY and Robert Sr. and wife Sylvia, Boyertown, PA. and numerous nieces and nephews. 1951 graduate of Conemaugh Township Area High School, Air Force Veteran of Korean War. Member of St.Anne Catholic Church, Davidsville, Jerome Post 802, American Legion, Polish Falcons Nest 556, Jerome, St. Maximilian Kolbe, K. of C. of Council #8979, Somerset County Hall of Fame and Oldtimers Assoc. and Iron Workers Local #3, Pittsburgh. Viewing from 2-8PM Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 109 Church Road, Davidsville where Vigil For Deceased will be held at 2PM, Sunday. Funeral Mass 11AM, Monday at St. Annes Church, Rev. Father John Voytek, OFM Conv., Celebrant. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, with Graveside Military Rites, accorded by the Somerset County Honor Guard.
