(Peterson) Piper. Preceded in death by parents, infant brother and mother & father-in-law Andrew H. & Margaret (Zorko) Emerick. Survived by husband of 47 years, John E. Emerick; children John W., Lori, married to Dan Speicher, Shari and Paul, married to Kate Phillips; sister, Linda, widow of Robert Thomas; grandchildren Natalee Phillips & John Cash Emerick; brother-in-law Andrew Frank Emerick, married to Sharon Dixon & nieces & nephews; Kristine Thomas & Andrea, Andrew & Joey Emerick & his girlfriend, Jess Moore. Also survived by special “brother-in-law”Eugene “Pudge” Johnston. Member of Jennerstown United Methodist Church. Formerly worked at Dorfman & Hoffman Garment Factory. Currently employed at Somerset Walmart, and was a bookkeeper for John W. Emerick Trucking. Viewing from 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell.
