WALKER - Michael D., 55, formerly of Boswell, died November 18, 2018 at James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center in Altoona. Born February 5, 1963 in Johnstown. Son of the late William E. and Veronica C. (Lesneski) Walker. Survived by siblings Charmaine, Martin, Cathy and William and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A 1981 graduate of North Star High School. A U.S. Marine and Army veteran having served in the Middle East in the war on terrorism and earned a Purple Heart Medal. He also served in the Army National Guard and was a member of the American Legion. A service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Hoffman Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Boswell, PA 15531 to help defray funeral costs.
