SEGANOS – Andrew J. “Bomber”, 68, Boswell, died January 18, 2019 at his home. Born November 30, 1950 in Johnstown. Preceded in death by father Andrew F. Seganos, sister Ruthie Pitera and brother-in-law Dave Punako. Survived by mother Ruth M. (Stein) Seganos; wife of 40 years Peggy E. (Barnick) Seganos; siblings Cecelia (Jerry) Secora, Bernadette Punako, Mary Jo (Ken) Watkins, Michael (Tracey) Seganos, Gregory (Diane) Seganos and Mark (Marsha) Seganos; brother-in-law Jeff Pitera and numerous loving cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and many loving, loyal friends. A 1968 graduate of Conemaugh Township High School. Andy was a former coal miner, tree trimmer and USPS rural mail carrier having retired in January 2018. He enjoyed fishing, playing pinochle and spending time at the cottage with all his family and friends. Friends received 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell. A private family service will be held Wednesday.
