SMITH - Carol J. (Flowers), 63, Jenners, died unexpectedly January 19, 2019 at her home. Born March 13, 1955 in Somerset. Daughter of Robert and Dorothy (Sadler) Flowers. Preceded in death by parents and sisters Shirley Flowers and Elizabeth Fleegle. Survived by husband of 45 years, Guy W. Smith, owner/operator of Red’s Barber Shop, Johnstown for many years. Also survived by daughter Michelle married to Frank Pletcher, Jenners; son Chad Smith married to Jennifer (Holder), Jenner Township; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly; brothers Robert Flowers and wife Betty; Ray Flowers and wife Betty and Harold Flowers; sister Beverly married to William Frye and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws. A graduate of Somerset High School. She was employed by Conemaugh Memorial Hospital for 17 years as a Nurse’s Aide. Member of former Sons of Italy, Johnstown Chapter. Friends received from 3-5 & 7-9PM Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 409 Main Street, Boswell where a service will be held 11AM Thursday with Rev. Kurtis L. Frampton presiding.
